We (husband, Tom and two kids) moved to Fredericksburg, Tx in 1990. I never cared anything about gardening until then. I had only had houseplants. But when we moved here I knew we were going to stay, so I began the project of making the yard an expression of myself. It became my artwork. My other hobbies are music (I play a silver flute), square dancing, counted cross stitch, crochet, acquariums, and now recently ponds. I work six days a week with my husband. Our daughter is now 20 and son is now 24. Tom and I are both native Texans. Our son was born in Heidelberg, Germany while Tom was in the army. Our daughter was born while we were stationed at Ft. Hood.
