I recently became one of the fortunate few on this planet that makes my living doing something I truly love. Eighteen months ago I got a job as a gardener on a small satellite campus of a large community college. I'm the only one in that capacity on my campus, so I set my own agenda. What a way to ease into retirement. O.K. I'll stop bragging now. I'm also a husband, Dad and Grandpa, all of which bring great joy to my life. After spending lots of time writing for my career, I now only do it for pleasure. This year, twenty oh nine, has become one of my favorites so far. Starting with the first week, I discovered 'Dave's Garden' where I've already made more new friends than I had in the past several years. Life is grand!!!
