The foliage of this form is particularly beautiful – often blushed purple & more vigorous than the species. Seed for this strain was generously gifted to us by nurseryman Jim Duggan.

Just a note to say that this is growing in my garden from commercial seed, about 3,500 masl high in the Andes.

I made wallpaper for my computer because I was so proud of these little darlings. They are so wind resistant, I can't believe it. We often have high winds here in Southern Nevada and these can take it and look great the next day. So pleased, I have ordered more seeds.

Rich cobalt blue bells bedeck this desert wildflower in Spring! True blue is the most sought after color in the plant world & the fact that this wildflower is native makes us treasure it all the more.
