I have had one for a nu...Read Morember of years now and now have many more from reseeding. It never fails to elicit questions, comments and plenty of ooooh's and ahhhhh's. It is rather an odd looking plant though I can see it's related to the Campanula family right away. I love this plant as it does so well here planted in good garden soil, watered in well and only watered again if there isn't enough rain. It rather takes good care of itself. Hummingbirds here go crazy for it. They look at it very oddly for a while and then finally test the flavour. They like it as does every other pollinator in the area. Mine is doing beautifully right now and is beginning to form it's main stalk so it will bloom very soon. If it grows here in Montana with no problem, I am not sure what to say. It gets very cold here some winters and not during other winters. Maybe I am just lucky. I don't know. What I do know though is that I adore this plant!!

Please note the tiny seed needs light t...Read Moreo germinate: suggested treatment - Mix seed with lots of dry fine sand; cover surface of fine compost with grit and sprinkle the seed:sand mix sparingly on the grit. Water the seed in with a fine mist. Germination 2-3 weeks at 20°C.
Do not prick out too early, wait until the plantlets really crowd each other.
