I haven't sprayed or fertilized it in years. Does better in late summer/fall. Very fragrant. No problems except Japanese beetles in July. I am in zone 6.
I am mainly an old rose grower and this in one of my few HT's. it seems the rose rosette disease is more attracted to my OGR and Austins than the HT's.
Will buy his rose again if I can find it.

And the upright growth with long stems that doesn't stop blooming even in 90 degree weather is a sure winner. Highly recommended for rose lovers.

This rose has taken off now that the weather is warming up, and it doesn't even seem to notice the difference. It's still very small, but has had at least two blooms open and numerous buds ready to pop for the past few weeks. The flowers look stunning against the foliage! The flowers have a yellow base color with peach overtones, and some pink as well- just like a sunset. And the folliage starts out burgundy and ages to a deep green. The dark leaves and the bright flowers are a perfect match. I would definitely recommend this rose, and am trying to find a place to put one at home now too! I've added two picture to show the foliage, but the lighting was too bright to really show the flowers very well. Luckily there are many other pictures of the flowers already :).

Another beautiful rose bush with gorgeous blooms. I don't really think it has a strong scent but the blooms sure are beautiful.
