Cuculiformes are easy to remember, for the name sounds like 'cuckoo', a species found within this order. There are 170 species of Cuculiformes found worldwide, with most in South America, Australia, Africa and Asia. Cuculiformes have bills that point downwards, pointed wings and long tails. Their plumage is grayish-brown, the better to hide them in their natural forest habitat.
